StreetPass UK invites all UK StreetPass groups to take part in MiiVision – the Tomodachi Life Song Contest*!
Do you have a penchant for silly suits? A love of loopy lyrics? Do you live in the UK? If you answered yes three times then you can read, and this competition might just be for you.
Have access to a copy of Tomodachi Life and want to enter? It’s simple; throughout July 2014 all StreetPass groups will be working to find their best song, so head over to the UK map to locate your local group, join them on Facebook and then get writing a Tomodachi . The rules are below so have a skim over those, and then get to work on your musical masterpiece.
Impress your group enough and your song will go to the next stage and go up against the best Tomodachi tunes in the country at the StreetPass North Wales “Summer Holiday” event, to compete for glory, minor recognition, and potential prizes!
Get creative – the best entry will be judged on a combination of costumes, lyrics and musicianship (how well the lyrics fit the tune). Oh and have fun. Any questions, pop ’em in the comments!
THE RULES
• Use the Tomodachi Life Concert Hall to create a singer or band made up of Miis based on members of your StreetPass group – no celebrities please, but silly costumes are positively encouraged!
• Make up a song about your StreetPass Group’s home town (nothing rude obviously!).
• Video your finished performance by any means necessary (shakey cams are fine), and upload to YouTube.
• Send a link to the video to StreetPassUKTeam@Gmail.com.
• Entries must be in by 25th July 2014.
• The winner will be chosen by a combination of a panel of judges and votes taken from local StreetPass groups during the last week of July – how to vote will be confirmed closer to the time.
• Finals to be held at the StreetPass North Wales “Summer Holiday” event on Saturday August 2nd 2014 in Bangor – highlights will also be put on social media.
• The prizes will be bragging rights, a certificate and TBC goodies. But there will be goodies.
