Mario Golf World Tour was recently released on 3DS, and it has a rather nifty online tournament function which allows a group of people to play asynchronously from each other, with a winner crowned after a pre-arranged period of time.

As you’d expect, StreetPass UK will be taking advantage of this, and our first Tournament recently came to a close!

The first StreetPass UK Mario Golf World Tour Tournament set the precedent for what will follow: no manual shots, no travel lines, no mercy. StreetPass UK tournaments are designed to test your abilities and, even though it was set on one of the earlier courses, this first tournament did just that. Thirteen players stepped up, trying to eek shots over laughing water hazards and avoid seductive sand traps (I don’t want to know -Ed).

Just so you know we’ll be keeping track of total scores all summer long, so keep trying your best and we’ll see who the ultimate StreetPass UK Mario Golf champion is!
