With Mario Kart 8 out this Friday it seemed like a good idea to recreate some of the planet’s fastest men for your collection, with hope that a vague approximation of their wind worn features might bring you luck on the race track.

The Celebritiis below mimic some well loved race track drivers, past and present. These are people renowned for their proficiency at navigating tarmac with precision and pace, so they should make short work of even the Mushroom Kingdom’s most formidable courses! Well, they’ve not had to negotiate tarmac filled with projectile turtle homes, lava, and sentient, man squashing granite – not to our knowledge at least – but they might help…

These Mii’s are the latest in our line of Mii Monday creations, intended to fill up your 3DS for the upcoming Tomodachi Life. Last week it was X-Men, and those posters still give us the giggles.

Below you will find Mii versions of Lewis Hamilton, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Alain Prost. We’ve also captured them admiring one of the Special Cups you’ll be able to win at the Mario Kart 8 Weekend Spectacular events, and also inspecting a genuine Mario Kart.
