The day of tricks draws ever so near, the ghouls are loose, but never fear, for NPUK has some treats, didn't you hear?
Thanks to the terror-ific folks at Nintendo UK, we'll be giving away some Official Animal Crossing cushions for those who dare to enter our creepiest competition yet. To be in with a chance of winning one, we’d like you to share a video clip of you and a friend enjoying a ‘trick or treat-themed’ activity of your own making in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for Nintendo Switch. Here’s how...
Create a ‘Trick or Treat’ game on your island. Some examples may include:
Wheel o' Tricks: Use a coloured or numbered wheel, and have some colours/numbers represent ‘trick’ and some ‘treat’. If your friend spins the wheel and it lands on ‘treat’, give them some candy, or a nice piece of furniture. If it lands on ‘trick’, well then maybe they’ll only get a tin can or an old tire :)
Graves n' Treats: Dig two holes and bury some candy, or a cool item in one, and a pitfall seed in the other. Your friend has to pick a hole to walk over. Will they fall-in, or will they walk safely across and claim their item by digging it up with a shovel.
Tip: Why not use custom designs and Halloween items to improve the presentation of your game!
Hold down the Nintendo Switch capture button and record a video showing you and your friend enjoying the Trick or Treat game.
Upload your video to Twitter with the tags @NintendoPlayUK and #NPUKTrickorTreat before the end of 31st October 2020.
The winners will be drawn at random from eligible submissions on Sunday, 1st November 2020, and notified the same day.
The more players that enter, the more Animal Crossing Cushions we’ll have to give away!
🎃 5-15 entries = 1 winner
👻 16-25 entries = 2 winners
