WIN – NPUK’s Animal Crossing Slumber Island Tour

Nothing beats a Dodo Airline Holiday… but what if you can create your very own? The recent Animal Crossing New Horizons content update has introduced a new feature called Slumber Islands, allowing you to do just that!

To celebrate, we’re giving away a Cosy Animal Crossing bundle, featuring a selection of items from the Animal Crossing online pop-up store, to players who are able to build their own Dream Vacation in Slumber Island! This is by no means a solo task, so stop counting sheep, grab a friend (or three), and get dreaming… I mean, building!

As mentioned before, your island should be themed around your Dream Vacation, somewhere you’d love to jet off to for some much-needed R&R. This could be anything from a tropical beach resort, a cosy countryside retreat, a bustling city break, or even a fantasy destination of your dreams! Don’t forget, construction must involve at least two players, with a maximum of four participants per island. You should also take screenshots during and after construction to demonstrate all the hard work you’ve put into this dream.

IMPORTANT – Entrants will need to take screenshots and clips of their finished island, making sure to include everyone who contributed. A minimum of five screenshots and one clip are required. Press the capture button once for a screenshot, and hold it down for a 30 second clip. You can easily transfer your captures to a smart phone by downloading the Nintendo Switch app and uploading the capture from your capture gallery. This can also be done automatically by enabling automatic uploads in your Nintendo Switch 2 settings.

Once you’re happy to submit your island, fill out this form before 5pm on Friday 20th February, ready for our panel of judges, including special guest MayPlaysTV, to book their next Island Getaway.

  • Entry Period – Friday 23rd January 5pm to Friday 20th February 5pm
  • Judging Period – Friday 20th February 5pm to Thursday 26th February 5pm
  • Winners Announced – Friday 27th February 5pm

Terms and Conditions

  • Only one Slumber Island may be entered per team
    • Each entry should involve between two and four participants
  • Entries must be made between Friday 23rd January 5pm GMT and Friday 20th February 5pm GMT (the ‘Entry Period’)
  • Entry is exclusive to residents living in the UK and Ireland
  • To enter, you must fill out all fields in the attached Google form – https://forms.gle/niZNi8Gcy5ZiNvuZ6
  • After the Entry Period ends, all submissions will be scored by a panel of judges against the following attributes:
    • Space – is space being utilised? Is there clutter?
    • Theme – Does the island give off vacation vibes?
    • Looks – Is the island aesthetically pleasing?
      • Each category is scored on a five-point scale
  • The winning team will receive a selection of items from the Animal Crossing New Horizons online pop-up store. Each bundle includes the following
    • Nintendo Switch 2 Camera
    • A Tom Nook, Isabelle, and Brewster plush toy
    • Animal Crossing Headband
    • The Roost Teacup and Saucer
    • A set of three Animal Crossing bags
  • We aim to announce the winners on Friday 27th February at 5pm GMT
  • Prizes must be claimed within 48 hours of notification or risk a runner-up being chosen instead
  • No substitutes for the prize are available
